Massey Dentistry is proud to be the Team Dentists of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Drs. Ashley and Taylor Massey have completed extensive training and certification to become the designated team dentists and are members of the Academy of Sports Dentistry.
Sports dentistry refers to the prevention and treatment of sport-related dental injuries. Prevention focuses on the fabrication of custom sports mouth guards. Massey Dentistry can create custom mouth guards in-house with our state-of-the-art digital scanner and 3D printers.
Sport-related dental injuries are treated as emergencies and can involve trauma to the face and teeth. Some examples of treatment are splinting of avulsed teeth, restorations of fractured teeth, root canal therapies, or extractions with replacement with dental implants.
